This is a truly sustainable product as it is produced from the scraps of my yearly tomato canning adventures.
I start with fresh San Marzano Tomatoes from local organic farmer Jim. I hit it with 8 hours of cold hickory smoke on my husband's UDS (ugly drum smoker which he built himself) and then dry them at the lowest possible temperatures to preserve scent and flavour.
I simply cannot express how outstanding this Smoked Tomato Powder is. It’s so different with two difinitive yet complementary layers of flabour. It smells and tastes divine.
Use it in Chili, Salsa, Soups, Stews, Sauces. Even dips, dressings and rubs.
My spices are 1000% better than store bought in flavour and fragrance. I guarantee it. If you are a chef or a foodie you must have this in your repertoire.
