This fragrant Smoked Turmeric is crafted from fresh turmeric grown in my greenhouse which I smoked with 8 hours of cold hickory smoke on my husband's handmade UDS (Ugly Drum Smoker) and dried onsite in small batches at the lowest possible temperatures to preserve scent and flavour.
The extra layer of smoke will give your dishes a depth of flavour that is at the same time delightful and unexpected. Your curry will sing!

We do use all organic practices, but are not certified. No pesticide sprays or chemical fertilizers are used. Also we DO NOT add any PRESERVATIVES of any kind. What you get is pure, unadulterated super pungent Smoked Turmeric.
