Hyssop a small bushy aromatic plant of the mint family, the bitter minty leaves of which are used in cooking and herbal medicine.
Anise hyssop is a perennial plant in Zones 4-8. It prefers well-drained soil in part sun to full sun. The plant grows from two to four feet tall. It should be noted that these plants will spread by rhizomes (underground, horizontal roots) and will easily self-seed in optimum growing conditions. In other zones it can be grown as an annual, but won't get as big.
It is best to start your Hyssop indoors and plant out after the last frost.
Hyssop is a great medicinal herb that can be used in tea or tinctures etc. However, I am not an herbalist or a doctor, so please do your own research and consult a professional before using them for this purpose.
These seeds were harvested from well established plants in my backyard that have never been sprayed or fertilized. They are completely organic. Also we DO NOT add any PRESERVATIVES of any kind. What you get is pure, unadulterated Anise Hyssop Seeds.
